Hola Amigos,
Estamos formando un Club de Patinaje en Panamá (CLub de Patinaje Centauros), y hoy
decidimos participar 3 miembros del club en este evento. Esperamos haberlo hecho bién.
Nuestro pequeño equipo el día de hoy estuvo formado por 3 patinadores:
Patinador #1 Juan Manuel Garrido Azcárraga - edad 44 años - Kms
recorridos 6 Kms.
Patinador #2 Andoni Amador Garrido Pitty - edad 10 años. - Kms
recorridos 6 Kms.
Patinador #3 David Arturo Acevedo Ordóñez - edad 11 años - Kms
recorridos 6 kms.
Adicionalmente los 3 recorrimos en conjunto 1.5 kms
Total de kilometros recorridos = 18 kms (relevos) + 1.5 kms (en
grupo) = 19.5 KMS
Tiempo de patinaje utilizado = 1 hora 15 minutos. (10:00 a.m - 11:15
a.m.)
El equipo patino haciendo relevos de 1.5 Km en un lugar llamado La
Calzada de Amador (área para paseos muy conocida un nuestra ciudad a la
entrada del Canal de Panamá del lado del Pacífico) aprobechamos que el área
tiene señalización indicando la distancia recorrida, la calzada es bastante
más larga pero nosotros decidimos utilizar solo los primeros 1500 metros por
que tienen una mejor superficie para patinar.
Los relevos se realizaron de la siguiente manera: el patinador #1
comenzó en el kilimetro 0.0 al llegar al kilometro 1.5 llamó por celular al
patinador #2 que estaba en el Km 0.0, al llegar al km 1.5 se llamó al
patinador #3 y al llegar este a la meta partió el paninador #1 y asi
sucesivamente.
La mañana fué agradable, seminublada y bastante fresca (o sea una
buena mañana para patinar).

Hello friends,
we are from a skating club in Panamá (Skating Club Centaurs), und three of us
decided to participate in this event.
Our little team consisted of 3 skaters:
Skater #1 Juan Manuel Garrido Azcárraga - 44 years old - skated 6kms.
Skater #2 Andoni Amador Garrido Pitty - 10 years old - skated 6kms.
Skater #3 David Arturo Acevedo Ordóñez - 11 years old - skated 6kms.
Additionally we 3 skated 1,5 kms together.
Total kilometers skated = 18 kms (relayed) + 1.5 kms (as group) = 19.5 kms
Total time skated = 1 hour 15 minutes. (10:00 a.m - 11:15 a.m.)
The group skated in a relay of 1.5 km at a place called La
Calzada de Amador (an area for pedestrians well known in our town at the entrance of
the Panamá Canal at its Pacific side). The place has signs showing the covered distance,
and is sufficiently wide to skate. We chose to use only the first 1500m to have a
better surface to skate.
The relay was realized the following way: Skater #1 started at kilometer 0.0 towards
kilometer 1.5. There he called by mobile phone skater #2 who was waiting at km 0.0. When
skater #2 arrived at km 1.5, skater #3 was called. When he arrived at km 1.5, skater #1
started to go back to km 0.0 and so forth...
The morning was quite comfortable, partly clouded and a little bit fresh - a very
good morning to skate.
