Thousand Oaks, USA, Hour#12+13 of 24skate#3


This is Kristine Jones' husband, Myron Jones. I was a witness to her two hour skate and I am reporting for her.

Kris skated at Westlake Village in Thousand Oaks, California. This is an area of Southern California near Malibu. She skated a five mile loop around the Lake.
Kris skated from 12:00pm to 2:00pm PST for a total mileage of 20.9 miles.

Kristine skated by herself. I was a support and witness on my mountain bike and then in the car after she wore me out.
The weather was slightly overcast with a marine layer but quickly dissipated to a very sunny day with temperatures in the mid to high 70's (F).
Kris had five sponsors and she raised a total of $294 (USD).

Hi,

I know my husband did email you the results of my skate, but I don't think I mentioned my age which is 56. I probably won't be the oldest but thought I would let you know.
I sure did enjoy participating and would like to next year. But next year I will try to have a bigger team, not just me.
