"Wies'n", Munich, Germany, Hour#1 of 24skate#3

My traditional venue for the 24skate are the carless streets on the big field Theresienwiese (literally: meadow of Theresia; in Bavarian short: "Wies'n", pronounciation: weas'n) where Munich's famous bear festival "Octoberfest" takes place every year. Same place for the third time, but also the third route. The field is frequently used by some smaller festivals and events. This year I took a path around the free southern half of the field. As a special reward to Zaragoza I named this route "Patinodromo Theresiano".

I was there in time for a picture of me and Munich's tallest woman, the Bavaria (in the background)

Exactly when my watch showed 08:00:00 (UTC) I crossed my starting line in almost full speed. Well, not exactly full speed: I was recovering from a light flue which I caught some days before and therefore I had to be careful not to exaggerate. So I strictly controlled my heartrate to not cross a defensively chosen threshold. This and the partly strong southern wind prevented me from achieving the 30km per hour goal. But this did not matter much to me: 24skate#3 has started successfully!
