The above table shows weather conditions at Dorval (PE Trudeau) international airport at time of event in Montréal. The region had been under rain, cold weather and windy conditions for the previous 8 days. The circuit I skated on which follows the St-Lawrence River and the Lachine Canal has gusty winds and cycling path was very wet with many puddles, leaves and branches on the pavement.

My wife Lina, dropped me at the start point west end of "Lachine"
Start at LachineIt's a Go!
and I skated past the "Pont de la Concorde" which leads to the islands where the international exhibition "Man And His World" took place 1967. I had thought that paying a visit to the "Man And His World" site almost 30 years later was appropriate for an activity which involves skaters working together around the world for a humanitarian cause like the UNICEF !
After that I returned to the Old Port of Montreal area where my wife recuperated me.

I skated a total distance of 21.1 Km during the 1 hours window.

Time, distance and path were recorded on my GPS (see the attached map in PDF format for more details on the circuit ).

The pictures were taken by Lina before, during and after the event. While not evident on pictures, rain and showers never stopped.

PS: The shopping bag waterproofing system we use down here, when conditions are really wet, is very efficient.
The only "cleaning" job you have to deal with is on the "bottom deck". Booths and feet stay dry ..or almost.
