Karlsfeld, Germany
Hello,
we had about 500 skaters (including the "Bladeguides").
The route was about 25km long and it only started to rain when the event was over.
We had about 100 helpers for blocking the route from traffic. Our tombola (prizes
were donated by companies) raised 157,20 Euro which we will transfer to a UNICEF
account. One "UNICEF skater" volunteered to sell lots during the skate which was
well received by the skaters.
Our volunteers will glady come back next year perhaps we will have more luck with the
weather and much more skaters will come to join the event.
We happily will take part again in the 24skate. For your information: Getting the
official permission and preparation of the event takes us about four months.
Best regards
Beate Hartmann

possible. The biggest part of the cost of the event - ca. 1.000 Euro - had been covered
by sponsors. The rest is covered by the budget of the youth work. ...
