Dacula, Giorgia, USA: 24skate #18


Hi Clemens!

Jessica and I both covered 3 hours of the 24skate #18 during the A2A - Athens to Atlanta - event yesterday (Sunday, Oct 24th)). The event had to be shortened due to permitting issues for the Athens start so the organisers moved the start line to Dacula which is on the A2A route and began the skate at 8am EDT or 12:00 UTC. Jessica actually finished in 3hrs 6mins and got the first overall women's award.



I finished 3rd in my age group with a time of 3hrs 42mins.. Not quite 4 hours but that should cover the hours of 12:00 - 15-00 UTC for our skate between Dacula and Atlanta, Georgia. I'll try to send you some event pictures soon with us on skates to add to your photo album for the 24skate website.

I saw that Eddy covered about 5 hrs in Thailand. He wasn't unable to make the event for the first time in about 30yrs due to Covid related travel restrictions but he did post his skate on Facebook.
