Munich, Germany: Hour 23 of 24skate #16
Dear skaters and friends around the world,
finally summer had come. June 2nd was the first really warm day after a cool May in Munich.
Perfect conditions for a 24skate hour. For those of you who read earlier reports of my
24skate hours know my traditional 24 skate location: The Oktoberfest area. No traffic, acceptable
(however not perfectly) smooth tarmac.
I took some selfies before the hour, because later I might look a bit too exhausted.

The latter is one that reminds me of my dream target: To break the 30km per hour threshold again.
But I knew the reality: I never made it above 26.7 the last few years.
Training in the past few weeks had gone well. So skate and see...
This way please:

And after one hour in warm, splendid sunshine:

I broke the 27km threshold!
From the time on the watch you can see, that it took me half an hour to believe it and take a picture of
my electronic testimonial.
Because I really looked a bit dried out, I invented the "backie" (a selfie from my back). Here you go:
The first backie on this planet has the 24skate logo!

Best regards
Clemens
