Dear candidate translator for www.24skate.net,

this page should contain anything you need to contribute a translation of the 24 website into your beautiful language:

Here you find as

downloadable text file (right mouse click and select "Save target as ..")

those sections of the 24website which are the most urgent ones for translation. You will notice that I removed some sections compared to the English webpage (e.g. the artists contest). If you would like to add them again (translated), then please go ahead.

Independently of this file, please translate also the following sentence:
“Please click here for the [your beautiful language] version”


General advice:

• The file is in text format, but contains HTML-tags (the “< >” brackets). Please leave all these HTML things untouched and translate only those sections which look like plain old English to you.
  
• Simply replace all original texts by your translation. So at the end everything – except the HTML stuff - is converted to your beautiful language.
  
• When finished, please do not forget to send the translated file - and the additional sentence from above - to me ;-)
  I will then do some final checks and put it onto the 24 website – together with an honorable mention of the translators.
  


• Shared work is less burden and more fun. Try to find some compatriots to form a translator team - and find the joy of working to a useful goal.
  

Specific hints:

• Do not translate anything between “ “ signs. Example: If you find a so-called name tag in the text file like
  <b><a name="idea">Idea</b> ,
  then please do not translate the word “idea“, but only the word >Idea<.
  
• If you like, you can have a preview of your translation quite easily:
  Rename the file extension to .htm and open the file with your browser.
